On February 15, the competitions of the 8th Azerbaijan Open Championship and the Baku Open Trampoline Championship started at the Baku Olympic Sports Complex, Day.Az reported on Thursday with reference to Trend.
The competition participants are 110 athletes representing the Ojag Sport club, the Specialized Children and Youth School of Gymnastics of the Olympic Reserve, as well as the national teams of Kazakhstan, Latvia, Slovenia, Georgia, and the Georgian sports clubs Shevardeni and Batumi.
Gymnasts perform in the age categories “toddlers” (born in 2017), “children” (born in 2014-2016), “pre-juniors” (born in 2012-2013), “juniors” (born in 2008-2011) and ” adults” (born in 2007 and older). Athletes compete in an individual program and in synchronized trampoline jumping.
The competition will take place over two days – February 15 and 16.
