The composition of the Azerbaijani national team that will take part in the U-17 World Wrestling Championship, which will be held in Amman, Jordan, has been announced.
İdman.biz reports that Greco-Roman wrestling competitions will start in the first days of the World Championship.
Under the leadership of senior coach Taleh Israfilov, coaches Nazim Akhmedov and Rasim Agayev, Shahid Nabiyev (45 kg), Amrakh Amrakhov (48 kg), Turan Dashdemirov (51 kg), Ali Nazarov (55 kg), Aykhan Javadov (60 kg), Emil Abdullaev (65 kg), Yusif Akhmedli (71 kg), Orkhan Gadzhiev (80 kg), Said Pashayev (92 kg) and Abdulla Gasanov (110 kg) will compete in the championship.
Later, the students of senior coach Rovshan Umudov and coach Hasrat Mamedyarov will join the fight. The women’s team includes Nazrin Akhmedli (40 kg), Esra Mamedli (49 kg), Fatima Bayramova (53 kg), Fidan Babayeva (57 kg), Gunay Gurbanova (61 kg) and Zahra Kerimzade (69 kg).
In the last days of the World Championship, freestyle wrestlers will take to the mat. Under the leadership of senior coach Asgarkhan Novruzov, coaches Vahid Mamedov and Yashar Aliyev, our country will be represented by Revan Gasanzade (45 kg), Hajihuseyn Akhmedzade (48 kg), Muhammed Ismayilov (51 kg), Huseyn Huseynov (55 kg), Huseyn Ismayilov (60 kg), Isa Yusibov (65 kg), Nihad Abasov (71 kg), Magomed Abbaszade (80 kg), Farhad Suleymanli (92 kg) and Magomed Gantemirov (110 kg).
The fights will start at 09:30 Baku time each day. The medal fights will start at 17:00.
Tural Aliyev and Khabib Nurulu will referee the World Championship fights.
It should be noted that 576 juniors are expected to participate in the World Championship, which will be held from August 19 to 25.
