The composition of the Milli Majlis committees has been formed (parliament) of the Republic of Azerbaijan of the new VII convocation.
As Day.Az reported on Monday, during the meeting, bills on electing members of Milli Majlis committees were put to a vote and adopted.
Then, a plan for the legislative work of the autumn session of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2024 was adopted.
It should be noted that on September 1, early parliamentary elections were held in Azerbaijan.
112 thousand 749 local observers were registered to observe the elections. More than 65 thousand of them are representatives of political parties. The number of registered international observers was 598 people, representing 51 organizations and 69 countries.
Of the 990 registered candidates for the parliamentary elections, 305 are representatives of 25 political parties. Although 371 candidates are members of political parties, they were not nominated by their respective parties. A total of 676 candidates have a political party affiliation. On September 21, the Constitutional Court approved the election results.
