Godínez, from the country, sent a video message to the attendees. “The Queen has left a great musical legacy and tonight great maritime masters will be part of this great night of rock music and this great group,” he said.
This concert is part of the presentations planned for the anniversary and the original idea was born when the sailor Godínez went to Zamora to tell him that he had some song arrangements with the British band. For a year the arrangements were working on the place where the maestro David de León also worked.
The marimbists who took part were Herbert Boche, José Boche, Sergio Boche and Max Boche; with Killer Queen, Luis Moir (keyboard), Willy Girón (drums), Vinicio Cabrera (bass) and Bryan Paez (guitar).
