The condition of the mine rescuer Alexander Zakovryashin, who survived the accident at the Listvyazhnaya mine in Kuzbass, is improving with moderate dynamics. The chief physician of the Kemerovo Clinical Emergency Hospital Igor Pachgin told reporters about it. Previously, the condition of the rescuer was assessed as consistently grave.

“Today we have 13 patients in our department, 11 are positive. Another rescuer came in yesterday (Alexander Zakovryashin.— “B”). Its dynamics are moderately positive, ”said Mr. Pachgin (quoted by TASS).

Earlier, Anton Bogdanov, a doctor at the intensive care unit of the Kuzbass Clinical Center for the Protection of Miners’ Health, said that the rescuer would be sent to the regional toxicological center in Kemerovo. He said that Alexander Zakovryashin was “conscious, breathing himself,” but “he remembers everything in fragments” and “can get confused both in time and space,” which is explained by the effect of toxic gases. Anton Bogdanov added that the victim “rather actively” talks about what happened.

Today it became known that the number of victims of the explosion at the Listvyazhnaya mine in Kuzbass increased from 72 to 76. Of these, 64 are in the hospital, and another 12 are monitored at home.

Heavy smoke and ignition of coal dust and rock at the mine occurred on 25 November. As a result of the emergency and during the rescue operation, 46 miners and 5 rescuers were killed. After the accident at Listvyazhnaya, two cases were opened: under Part 3 of Art. 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of industrial safety requirements) and part 3 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence), they were combined into one production. Mourning was declared in Kuzbass until November 28.
