The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Security and Safety Monitor, Mohamed Gremida, reported that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved the Tripoli International Stadium to host international and continental matches, after maintaining and developing the stadium.
Earlier, a source reported to “Ain Libya” that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) had addressed the Libyan Football Association regarding officially approving the Tripoli International Stadium to host international competitions.
The Security and Safety Committee of the Confederation of African Football had previously inspected the Tripoli International Stadium, in preparation for hosting international matches.
The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government welcomed the adoption of the Tripoli International Stadium and considered it a new step and another indicator in strengthening the state of stability.
