The former head of the astronomy department at the National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research, Dr. Ashraf Tadros, that the sky witnesses on October 27-28 the conjunction of the Moon and Antarius.

He added, “The moon is paired with the red star Antarius (Antares) upon entering the night at approximately six in the evening for a short period of time, so it will be below the right of the star on the 27th, then the upper left of the star on the 28th.”

He stressed that all observations of astronomical events and phenomena do not have any harm to human health or his daily activity on Earth, except for a solar eclipse, as looking at it with the naked eye is very harmful to the eye.

He continued: “Please bear in mind that all observations of astronomical phenomena and events require a clear air and that the sky is free of clouds, dust and water vapor.”
