The Constitution Committee approved the first reading of the Basic Law: the Judiciary

9 MKs supported: Chairman MK Simcha Rothman (Religious Zionism) and MKs Tali Gottlieb, Hanoch Malbitsky, Moshe Saada, Ariel Kellner (Likud), Erez Malol, Yoni Misherki (Shas), Yitzhak Pindros ( Torah Judaism), (Yitzhak Kreuzer (Otzma Yehudit).

7 MKs objected: Karin Elharer, Yoav Seglovitch (Yesh Atid), Walid El Huashla (Ram), Matan Kahana (The State Camp), Yulia Malinovsky (Israel Beitno), Ofer Kassif (Hadash Ta’al) , Gilad Karib (the work).

The committee votes for the first reading of the law in the High Court regarding the committee for the selection of judges – the law supplements the Basic Law: the Judiciary.
