Today, Sunday, the Algerian Constitutional Court began receiving records of voting results and municipal census documents for the pre-presidential elections that took place yesterday, Saturday.

The Chief Acting Director of Legal Affairs and Constitutional Courts, Ahmed Ibrahim Bukhari, explained that “the process of obtaining consolidated voting records from the state electoral commissions takes place in accordance with Article 272 of the electoral system.”
“Since the beginning of the process this morning, the Constitutional Court has received 16 records of voting results and election documents attached to the municipal census,” Buhari was quoted as saying on public television.

He added, “The Secretariat for Control at the court level is responsible for monitoring them in terms of numbers, and then submits the file to the President of the Constitutional Court, who appoints the reporters to study these files to all within the scope of the degrees. which precedes the announcement of the final results of the pre-presidential elections.”
