Mr. Tran Vinh Quang: Thank you! This project involves the construction and installation of equipment for the new headquarters, with a total investment of 24 billion VND. Its significance lies in providing modern work facilities for district officers and civil servants, which is crucial for administrative reform and improving services for the community.
Lisa Tran: That sounds impactful! With a winning bid of over 20 billion VND, what factors do you think contributed to your success in this tender process?
Mr. Tran Vinh Quang: There were several key factors. First, our competitive pricing played a significant role. We submitted a bid of about 20.13 billion VND, which was lower than the estimated tender price of 21.2 billion VND. Second, our experience and reputation were crucial – we’ve successfully completed 45 out of 60 tender packages previously, including major projects, which built trust with the authorities.
Lisa Tran: Extraordinary track record! Winning four out of four tender packages in the past is commendable. Can you elaborate on how teamwork and collaboration within your joint venture helped achieve this win?
Mr. Tran Vinh Quang: Absolutely. Our joint venture with 4-10 Gia Lai Fire Protection Equipment Company brings together various expertise. Each member contributes their strengths—Nhat Quang focuses on construction, while our partner excels in specialized fire protection systems. This collaboration ensures that we deliver a comprehensive and high-quality proposal.
Lisa Tran: Collaboration seems key, especially in large projects like this. Speaking of scale, what are the next steps after winning this tender?
Mr. Tran Vinh Quang: After the decision is made public, we will work closely with the Chu Pah District Construction Investment Project Management Board to finalize the contract. Once that’s signed, we’ll kick off the construction phase, which is expected to last 400 days.Throughout this time, we will prioritize quality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
Lisa Tran: It sounds like a well-organized approach. Looking ahead,what do you see as the most significant challenges in executing such a project?
Mr. tran Vinh Quang: One of the biggest challenges will be managing time effectively while adhering to the budget. Delays can arise due to various factors, including weather or supply chain issues. However, we’re prepared to face these challenges by having contingency plans in place and ensuring open communication with all stakeholders.
Lisa Tran: Very insightful! Lastly, Mr. Quang, what advice would you give to emerging construction companies in the bidding process for public projects?
