To which he added: “I tried to sell a iPad Pro with all its accessories… on Facebook Marketplace, … what the girl did was talk to me on Marketplace, I gave her my number, everything was fine.”

After this, the woman asked him to “take down the post to make sure. It turns out that she asked me to upload the post to Mercado Libre, but he was not the only person…”.

According to what the alleged buyer told her, she asked her for this so that she could use credit from the sales page or to be able to pay in installments. After that, the woman told her that the purchase process was already complete, so she would receive a verification email.

Technically I gave her all my data so she could fake an email“, said Jorge Aldoney.
