The Council of Ministers discusses the file of financial releases

The Ministries of Civil Service and Finance discussed the instructions of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, regarding following up on the file of financial releases in accordance with the approved controls.

The meeting discussed “the target groups of the Financial Releases Committee and the measures taken regarding them. The committee presented a light presentation that clarified the files submitted by the health sector entities, which amounted to 12,000 files, and the exclusion of administrative jobs from them, while keeping the medical and paramedical professions, which amounted to 9,807, whose conditions are being addressed. It also completed the procedures related to members and faculty of universities and higher institutes in applied specializations, and giving them priority in financial releases, in addition to identifying the deficits received from the Ministry of Education in the specializations required by the controls and giving them priority according to the criteria prepared by the committee.”

During the meeting, “the issue of the surplus staff, which the Prime Minister addressed through a number of organizing decisions, was also addressed. It was agreed to provide the Ministry of Finance with the relevant documents related to the last payment certificates and the salary from the original employer to settle their financial status and ensure the accuracy of the data. It was agreed during the meeting to continue coordination between the Ministries of Education and Health, Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Technical and Vocational Education, with the Financial Releases Committee formed by the Ministries of Civil Service and Finance with the aim of addressing the status of the categories needed by educational and health institutions, in accordance with the controls approved by the Council of Ministers.”

The conditions of the Palestinian brothers working in the administrative units were discussed, in accordance with the Prime Minister’s directives to treat them as nationals, and an agreement was reached to resolve their financial conditions urgently, after their lists were approved by the Minister of Civil Service.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Civil Service, the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, the Advisor to the Minister of Finance, and a number of department directors in the two ministries.
