Dubai: UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has said that the UAE will enter a new phase of prosperity and growth under the newly elected UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He made the remarks at the first cabinet meeting since the election of the new president.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed aims to strengthen the national human resources, consolidate the economy and elevate the UAE’s international and political position.
In the future, plans will be drawn up for all ministries and federal agencies.
He started his rule through activities among the people. The first plans and initiatives have been announced for the welfare and happiness of the people, ”he added.
He said there would be a continuation of past efforts and asked ministries and federal agencies to submit proposals and plans to the cabinet within the next 50 days.
Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Deputy Ruler of Dubai; General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other Ministers were also present.
