The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow has arrested the general director of the Fund for New Forms of Education Development Artur Stetsenko, the husband of ex-Deputy Minister of Education and former Vice President of Sberbank Marina Rakova, in the case of large-scale fraud. This is stated in the Telegram channel of the Moscow courts.
“The petition of the investigation to elect Arthur Stetsenko as a preventive measure in the form of detention until December 5, 2021 was satisfied,” the message says.

Stetsenko is suspected of a crime under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud committed by an organized group or on an especially large scale).
The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the arrest of Rakova’s husband on October 6. According to the investigation, in the “Fund for new forms of education development” it was arranged fictitiously at the time when Rakova headed this organization. From 2017 to 2019, under the guise of a salary, he received more than 9 million rubles.
