The Tagansky court of Moscow blocked a website connected with the platform “Eye of God”; the prosecutor’s office of Moscow acted as the plaintiff in the case. During the court session, it was established that “the prosecutor’s office identified sites that contain information addressed to an unlimited number of persons on the provision of services for providing access to personal data of citizens of the Russian Federation for a fee”.

“Recognize information posted on the Internet information and telecommunications network on Internet sites … h … information, the dissemination of which is prohibited in the Russian Federation,” the court’s decision says. The court instructed Roskomnadzor to take measures to restrict access to information. The decision can be appealed on appeal.

In June, Roskomnadzor filed a lawsuit against the founder of the Eyes of God, accusing him of violating the right to privacy. A court in Moscow ruled to block the service. In July, a database of 774 thousand clients of the “Eyes of God” was made publicly available on the Internet.
