Santander, January 29, 2024.- The Provincial Court of Cantabria has sentenced a man to one year and nine months in prison for abusing a friend while she was sleeping. In a recently notified ruling and against which there is an appeal before the Criminal Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of Cantabria, the Third Section of the Court considers him the author of a crime of sexual abuse. In addition to the prison sentence, it prohibits him from approaching and communicating with the woman for three years, imposes a measure of supervised release of the same duration and disqualifies him from performing work that involves contact with minors for seven years.
