The Court of Cantabria confirms the conviction of a member of a picket during the strike in the metal sector

Santander, March 2, 2023.- The Provincial Court of Cantabria has confirmed a sentence of 540 euros to a worker who participated in an information picket during the strike in the metal sector in June of last year. In a sentence recently notified and which is now final, the First Section of the Provincial Court rejects the appeal filed by the convicted person against the decision handed down by the Examining Court No. 3 of Santander, which last October considered him the author of a light crime of coercion. Then, the magistrate of instance considered accredited that the now condemned “carried out a series of acts that prevented the company’s workers from accessing their job.”
