The Second Section of the Navarra Court has sentenced a resident of Murchante who on July 7, 2021, to a total of 21 years and 6 months in prison, murdered his partner, stabbing her 17 times, one of which He severed the jugular. In a hearing held today behind closed doors, the sentence was handed down in accordance with the agreement reached between the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the private prosecution, the popular action – carried out by the Navarro Institute for Equality – and the defence. The convicted man, who is currently 44 years old, has accepted 20 years in prison for a crime of murder, 6 months for a crime of habitual abuse, 6 more for violating a precautionary measure and another 6 for a crime of reckless driving.
