Riyadh: The wife who stabbed her husband’s head and injured him was sentenced to prison in Saudi Arabia. The incident on which the case is based was a beating that took place during a family dispute. Lawyer Nawaf Al Nabati said that the husband who was beaten needed ten stitches on his head.

The incidents started when the young man forbade his wife, who was about to take an online taxi to attend a party organized by her friend. The woman had to get out of the taxi due to her husband’s insistence. When she returned home, she took the glass in front of her and hit her husband on the head. The husband’s lawyer argued in court that the blow caused a deep wound which required 10 stitches and took more than 15 days to heal.

When questioned during the investigation of the case, the woman confessed to the crime. The woman claimed that such an incident did not happen during the argument. During the trial, they also confessed in the court. The judge suggested that the case be reconciled, but the husband refused. Following this, they were sentenced to six days in jail.
