The Ministry of Health reports 2,039 new infections and 380 patients admitted to hospitals, according to the latest weekly balance

The coronavirus has caused others 19 deaths in the Valencian Community since the last data update, a week ago. These are 12 women between the ages of 56 and 96, and 7 men between the ages of 76 and 96, as specified by the Ministry of Health this Friday.
Thus, the total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic amounts to 10,206: 1,220 in the province of Castellón, 3,885 in Alicante and 5,101 in Valencia.
The Valencian Community has also registered 2,039 new coronavirus infections -21 more than the previous week- in addition to the aforementioned fatality balance, with two more deaths than in the previous report.
Of the new cases, by age, 1,150 are in people over 60 years of age, and Valencian hospitals are currently 380 people admitted -49 more than a week ago-, 15 of them in the ICU.
