The Commission for the Protection of Competition (CPC) initiated open proceedings against the National Assembly (NA) following a complaint by “Factor TS” EOOD. The decision of the CPC is published on the website of the Commission.

The appeal is in accordance with the Law on Public Procurement (PPA) in the part about the deadlines for submitting an application for participation in procedures. It is against the Parliament’s decision on the supply, commissioning and warranty maintenance of a complex system for the technical provision of the plenary sessions in the plenary and in the conference halls in the National Assembly building at “Knyaz Alexander I No. 1” square.

The CPC initiated open proceedings against the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) again in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Procedure Code in the part regarding the deadlines for submission of offers by companies. The complaint against the Ministry of Internal Affairs is from the Team Consortium and is against the Ministry’s decision to purchase and supply mobile speed control devices.

The CPC also opened open proceedings against the Electricity System Operator (ESO) following a complaint by “Invest Agro DS” EAD against the decision to clean up easements of power lines from the transmission network of Bulgaria, served by Varna management.

The CPC has also initiated open proceedings against the State Agency for Road Traffic Safety (BDP) following a complaint by Esri Bulgaria Ltd. The appeal is according to the order of the Public Employment Service in the part about the deadlines for submitting applications. It is against the decision of the BDP to develop and implement a “Single electronic platform for submitting and processing signals related to an identified risk to the safety of the road infrastructure”.

Following a complaint from ZEA Bulstrad Vienna Insurance Group, the CPC initiated open proceedings against BDZ – Passenger Transport. The appeal is based on the Public License and against the railway carrier’s decision to provide an insurance service by concluding insurance for the needs of “BDZ – Passenger Transport” EOOD, divided into eight separate positions.
