The CRDH of Drâa-Tafilalet holds its eighth ordinary meeting on Saturday

Errachidia – The Regional Human Rights Commission (CRDH) of Drâa-Tafilalet will hold its eighth ordinary meeting next Saturday in Errachidia, in accordance with law 15-76 relating to the reorganization of the National Human Rights Council (CNDH)

This meeting also takes place within the framework of articles 35 and 36 of the internal regulations of the CNDH, as well as the implementation of the action plan of the CRDH of Drâa-Tafilalet for the current year.

The agenda for this session includes the presentation of the progress report on the action of the standing committees of the regional commission, carried out between the two sessions, with the aim of examining and enriching it.

The agenda of this meeting focuses on the presentation and adoption of the action plan of the second session of the CRDH for the year 2023.

It will also be a question of sharing the conclusions of the meetings and training sessions organized at the initiative of the National Human Rights Council.

The Regional Human Rights Commissions are responsible for monitoring and controlling the human rights situation at the regional level and for receiving complaints relating to allegations of human rights violations addressed to them. They prepare special or periodic reports on the measures taken to deal with regional or local cases and complaints.

These commissions also ensure the implementation of the CNDH’s programs and projects in terms of promoting human rights, in close collaboration with all stakeholders concerned at the regional level, including in particular associations working in the field of human rights and regional human rights observatories.
