The CRDH of the Oriental holds its 3rd ordinary meeting for 2022

These include the presentation of the CRDH report during the second and third meetings for 2022, the conclusions and recommendations from the regional conference organized last November around the “Right to health: strengthening the governance of the sector and spatial justice in the Oriental region”.

Likewise, it was also an opportunity to review the action programs established by the standing committees for the year 2023, as well as the reports drawn up by the members of the Committee.

In a statement to MAP, the president of the CRDH of the Oriental, Mohamed Lamarti indicated that this meeting allowed to discuss the different activities, interventions and missions carried out by the CRDH during the period between the last two meetings.

The meeting was also an opportunity for members to review the report prepared by the Commission following the regional symposium organized last November on the “Right to health: strengthening governance of the sector and spatial justice in the Oriental region,” he said, emphasizing the commitment of the CRDH of the Oriental to work in concert with all stakeholders, with a view to implementing the conclusions and recommendations resulting from this symposium.

Mr. Lamarti also highlighted the activities carried out by the permanent commissions under this CRDH in terms of promoting human rights, as well as the updating of the areas of intervention of some of these commissions, in particular issues relating to childhood, the rights of people with disabilities and health.

It should be recalled that the CRDH of the Oriental held two ordinary meetings this year in July and October, during which several points and themes were discussed.
