The production company Wolf Entertainment, which is responsible for the crime series Law & Order and its offshoots, has announced the filming of the 21st season of the original series. “Law and Order” in the classic format has not been published since 2010, then it was reported that its production was terminated.
NBC received the rights to broadcast the new season in the United States, information about the actors and the date of the premiere was not disclosed. The new season of the series, according to the producers, will continue to feature “two separate but equally important groups: police officers investigating crimes and district attorneys prosecuting perpetrators.”
The premiere of the series Law & Order took place in 1990. The format of the series formed the basis for seven offshoots and a full-length TV movie. From 2011 to April 2021, the franchise’s only current TV series aired was Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, with 22 seasons. From 2007 to 2011, the Russian TV company Studio 2B produced an adapted version of it, as well as an adaptation of the series Law and Order: Criminal Intent.
