On December 8, within the framework of the Cultural Marathon project, the filmmakers of the film Major Thunder, director Oleg Trofim and actor Sergei Goroshko, held an online lesson at the school of the Seekers village of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
According to the press service of “Kinopoisk”, they told the children about the difficulties they encountered during the creation of the film comic strip, and also shared the details of the filming. For example, despite the fact that real fire was used in the flamethrower scene, Sergei Goroshko performed the tricks on his own.
The Seekers’ settlement for conducting an online lesson was not chosen by chance: Oleg Trofim was born here, studied at a local school. He is sure that it was in the Arctic that his path to the profession began. Therefore, Oleg Trofim began his communication with the guys with gratitude to the music teacher who inspired him to become a director.
The filmmakers told the schoolchildren about the world of cinema and the search for their place in it, explained what the work of a director and actor is, revealed the secret of why modern cinema is becoming multi-genre and what is hidden behind a spectacular picture that is shown on the screen.
– There is a difference between a big long-distance movie and a three-day episode. You need to prepare for everything equally hard and with the same dedication, then fate rewards, – said Sergei Goroshko.
Recall that the “Cultural Marathon” is an annual all-Russian campaign of Yandex, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. It is based on an interactive online test that broadens the horizons and develops the thinking of schoolchildren.
