Bangladesh’s national cricketers resumed practice on Wednesday, bat-ball in hand, following their arrival at the ground earlier that day. The session saw the involvement of both the ‘A’ team and several senior national team players.
Among those present was right-arm pacer Taskin Ahmed, who is working towards a return to red-ball cricket after a prolonged absence. The player acknowledged the importance of regular practice in his recovery process.
Cricket manager Shahriar Nafis expressed delight at the players’ return to action, stating that the team is eager to resume competitive play. He also confirmed the commencement of national team practice, tentatively scheduled for the following day.
