The opposition protest demanding the mayor’s resignation will continue today. The Kerala Police decided to file a case on the 18th day after the letter in the name of Mayor Arya Rajendran came out. On the complaint of the mayor that the letter is fake, the move is to file a case for forgery. The order was given by DGP Anilkanth based on the recommendation of Thiruvananthapuram District Crime Branch SP. But the investigation will not progress an inch until the original copy of the letter is found. Currently, only the screenshot of the letter has been released.

It is not possible to find whether the letter is fake or not based on the screenshot. Moreover, it is reported that the centers that prepared the letter destroyed the evidence. At the same time, opposition leader VD Satheesan came to the scene criticizing the police investigation style. Satheesan also blamed the deplorable situation where the party itself has become the investigating agency.
