The President-elect of the United States Donald Trump confirmed on Wednesday that the crime rate in his country is at a level that no one has ever seen before.

Trump said on his social media platform, Truth Social: “When I said that the criminals coming are far worse than the criminals we have in our country, the Democrats and the fake news media always refuted that statement, but he ceased to be. true.”
Trump added, “The crime rate in our country has reached a level no one has ever seen before. Our hearts go out to all the innocent victims and their loved ones, including the brave officers of the New Orleans Police Department.”
Trump emphasized that his administration will fully support the city of New Orleans as they investigate and recover from this “evil act.”
New Orleans authorities announced that 10 people were killed and 30 injured after a vehicle struck a crowd of people in conjunction with New Year’s celebrations.
