During the meeting, the two sides discussed the fraternal bilateral relations between the two countries, cooperation and joint coordination in military and defense fields and affairs, as well as ways to develop them, the Emirati news agency Wam reported.
The Army Corps General, on this occasion, conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Sovereign’s wishes for more health and happiness as well as progress and prosperity for the State of the United Arab Emirates and its people, added the same source.
For his part, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed his greetings to His Majesty the King, wishing the Sovereign health and happiness, and the Kingdom of Morocco and its brotherly people progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty the King.
During the meeting, which was attended by Major General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, Deputy Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, and Secretary of the Cabinet of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, the two sides reviewed a number of issues of common interest, the agency continued.
According to the same source, Army Corps General Belkhir El Farouk also held talks with Lieutenant General Saleh Ben Mujren Al-Amiri, Commander of Joint Operations at the UAE Ministry of Defense, as part of the ongoing consultation and coordination between the brothers aimed at strengthening contact between the two countries and laying the foundations for developed relations in the areas of military cooperation.
The Emirati official, added the agency, welcomed, during this meeting, the dynamics of development of the fraternal relations which unite the State of the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Morocco, highlighting the depth of the fraternal relations which bind the two countries and their constant concern to strengthen them and develop bilateral cooperation in all areas, thanks to the support and concern of the leaders of the two brotherly countries.
The two sides highlighted, on this occasion, the depth of bilateral relations and the level of joint coordination between the two countries in military and defense affairs, which contribute to strengthening cooperation and joint action in the service of the interest of the two countries.
Army Corps General Belkhir El Farouk, Inspector General of the FAR, commander of the southern zone, was also received at Wahat Al Karama in Abu Dhabi by Sheikh Khalifa Ben Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Executive Director of the Martyrs’ Families Affairs Office at the office of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
Upon his arrival at Wahat Al Karama, Lieutenant General Belkhir El Farouk reviewed a detachment of the Guard of Honor and then laid a wreath in front of the Martyr’s Memorial, which consists of 31 tablets that rest on top of each other, as a symbol of unity, cohesion and solidarity between the leadership of the State of the United Arab Emirates, its people and its heroic soldiers.
Sheikh Khalifa Ben Tahnoun Ben Mohammed Al Nahyan gave, during a tour of the Army Corps General, Belkhir El Farouk, through the Oasis, extensive explanations on its dependencies which symbolize the heroism and sacrifices made by the brave sons of the United Arab Emirates and which translate the many noble meanings and national values.
Army Corps General Belkhir El Farouk concluded his tour by writing a word in the Visitors’ Book expressing his consideration for the heroism and sacrifices of the martyrs of the State of the United Arab Emirates.
