Time.news – Netflix unveils the first photos of the sixth and final season of ‘The Crown‘ which will be available on Netflix by the end of 2023. That’s 10 episodes of 60 minutes. At the heart of the final season is a new decade in the history of the kingdom: the principe William he embarks on his journey at the University of St. Andrews, determined to lead as normal a life as possible.
Also Kate Middleton begins his academic career in the same university, there they meet, their love story begins and a new future for ‘The Crown’.
The already well-known cast is joined by the 23-year-old newcomer Ed McVey who will play the role of Prince William in the last episodes of this season and the other newcomer, the 19-year-old Meg Bellamy, who after sending a video for the audition, was selected for the role of Kate Middleton.

Filming for this new season was done in St. Andrews, in Scotland, earlier this year, allowing Ed and Meg to experience and enjoy some of the places Prince William and Kate Middleton actually frequented twenty years ago. Among the photos, also an iconic shot of the two actors posing in front of the Northpoint Cafe in St. Andrews, which claims to be the place “where Kate met Wills”.

Here is the cast of ‘The Crown 6’: Imelda Staunton (Queen Elizabeth II), Jonathan Pryce (Prince Philip), Lesley Manville (Princess Margaret), Dominic West (Prince Charles), Elizabeth Debicki (Princess Diana), Claudia Harrison (Princess Anna) and Olivia Williams (Camilla Parker Bowles). Bertie Carvel plays Tony Blair, while Salim Daw is Mohamed Al Fayed and Khalid Abdalla is Dodi Fayed. Luther Ford is Prince Harry, while Rufus Kampa and Flynn Edwards play William and Harry respectively in the first few episodes.
