The visit, guided by shipowners, allowed discussions with shipbuilders, marine carpenters, and boat design engineers. During this inspection, they stressed the importance of respecting national and international standards, specifying that non-compliance could result in a ban on navigation in Burundian waters for the vessel concerned.
As part of theHoney, traditional socio-economic system of the Barundithe craftsmen involved in the manufacture of boats are members of the Burundian trades corporation. The members of this corporation are called Hutu. These artisans, Hutu, produce ships that meet the essential mobility needs of the Barundi on Lake Tanganyika.
