The fifth “Winter Festival” was launched this morning (Monday) at the Culture Hall in Tel Aviv. At the festival, which will be held from February 8 to 11 and will be the opening shot for the 65th anniversary celebrations of the establishment of the hall, there will be 15 performances with the participation of many artists, including Miri Mesika, Arkady Dukhin, Nurit Galron and Tipax.
The launch event was attended by Josie Katz, to whom the opening performance of the festival “My Loves”, under the artistic direction of Etti Ante and the musical direction of Nadav Holland, will be dedicated. “When they called to inform me about the tribute show, I asked if they were sure they hadn’t made a mistake in the number,” said Katz at the event. Alon Ader, Eli Magen, Assaf Amdorski, Efrat Gush, Berry Sakharof, Mika Karni, Shlomi Shaban and more will participate in the performance of the tribute to Katz.

In addition, the musician Arkady Duchin will hold a special show at the festival called “There is love in me”. At the show, Duchin will host the musicians Mosh Ben Ari as well as Orit Shaf and Tom Petrover from the band “The Jews”. Duchin performed “Free Imagination” at the launch event, in tribute to the musician Yitzhak Kleftar who passed away last Thursday.

Also at the festival, the following performances will take place: in the Louis Hall, there will be performances by Miri Mesika who will host Rita, Hadeg Nahash who will mark their 25th anniversary and will host Tuna, and the Tipax band who will host Sarit Hadad. In Zucker Hall there will be performances by Dikla, Rif Cohen, Nurit Galron, Rona Keenan and Daniela Spector. In Sela Hall there will be performances by Gal De Paz, Daniel Zamir and Nitzen Bar, Hila Kulik, Eli Dejiberi and Dan Aren.
