“These two days of discussions were very instructive for us entrepreneurs. This allowed SMEs to have a lot of information that will be useful to them in their activities. Personally, I leave this day having been equipped and informed to better face the Guinean entrepreneurial terrain. Difficulties abound. During these two days, we exhibited them. They were taken into account by those responsible for the national directorate of SMEs and local content. As for the recommendations, there is in particular the relocation of certain events within the country and especially with regard to capacity building because many companies there are lacking information. ”, he indicated.

For her part, Aminata Sacko, who operates in the production, distribution and marketing of Guinean textiles, first thanked those responsible for the national directorate of SMEs and local content for the organization of this activity.

“Before these two days of exchanges, we benefited from a month of training in the premises of the national directorate of SMEs and local content. These two activities will allow us to evolve in what we do in the entrepreneurial sector. The difficulties we have are having good cotton in order to produce good production. I take this opportunity to encourage the Guinean authorities to continue to promote Guinean textiles,” she said.

Speaking at the end of these two days of discussions, Diallo Mamadou Diao, Deputy Director General of SMEs and local content, welcomed the strong mobilization of entrepreneurs.

“We are seeing great participation with strong mobilization not only at the business level but also from state services intervening in the ecosystem environment. The participants made recommendations including the relocation of this celebration to the regional level, the facilitation of access to business financing, the multiplication or popularization of certain services at the level of SMEs to promote their sustainability and the development of their activities. After these two days of discussions, the outlook is good. It is to always strengthen the fabric in terms of the synergy of action between the actors evolving in the ecosystem. And also, invite entrepreneurs towards formalization which requires, at their level, the exercise of very effective administrative practice as part of their sustainability and competitiveness,” he said.

Before concluding, the DGA of SMEs and local content announced that his department has a no less exhaustive directory where nearly 3,287 SMEs are registered to date.
