Cryptocurrencies posted slight gains today, bringing the overall market cap back up to $1.12 trillion, which is 1.36% above the value a day earlier, about 2% above the value a week ago and about 47% below the value a year ago.
Bitcoin recorded a daily increase of 0.7% and a weekly increase of 0.9%, to a price of $23,037 per currency and a market value of $444 billion.
Ethereum rose by a daily rate of 0.8%, and in the last week by a rate of five percent, to a price of $1,646 per coin and a market value of $198 billion.
Binance Coin rose by almost a percent in the last day and 7.7% in the last week, to a price of $331 per coin and a market value of $52 billion.
Ripple did not register a real change today, with a decrease of a fraction of a percent compared to yesterday and an increase of half a percent compared to the previous Tuesday, to a price of 40 cents and a market value of 20 billion dollars.
Cardano is down a tenth of a percent daily but is up five percent weekly, to a price of 40 cents and a market value of $13.7 billion.
Dogecoin fell by almost half a percent in a day, but in the weekly range maintains a positive trend at a rate of four percent, to a price of 9 cents and a market value of 12.2-3 billion dollars.
And Polygon rose by three percent in a day and more than 14% in a week, to a price of $1.24 and a market value of $11.2 billion.
