The story began in 2006, precisely on March 23, the day the Hannah Montana series was launched to the world through Disney Channel. Miley was 13 years old and, although she had already appeared in Tim Burton’s hit The Big Fish, she had not yet starred in any fiction.

The plot of the show revolves around a young woman who lives a double life: she is a pop superstar (Hannah Montana), but at the same time an ordinary student (Miley Stewart) who wants to avoid anyone finding out about her role as a singer.

Since the first broadcast of Hannah Montana, Cyrus began to find herself involved in an overwhelming whirlwind of fame. In 2011, the year the series ended, the actress decided it was time to put an end to her portrayal of a fictional pop star and become a real one.
