Baghdad – I.A.

The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, confirmed today, Wednesday, that the Karbala epic is one of the most important historical events, and the most important of the wonderful achievements that humanity has made in the fields of armed struggle and revolution against injustice and tyranny, while he pointed out that the day of Karbala is when the whole world stands and draws from Hussein (peace be upon him) lessons of strength, courage and principles.

Al-Maliki said in a post on the platform (x) And the (INA) followed it: “I offer my sincere condolences to all Muslims in the East and West of the earth, and in particular to the Iraqi people, on the anniversary of the immortal Karbala incident and the martyrdom of the father of the free, Imam Hussein bin Ali bin Abi Talib, his pure family and his companions (peace be upon them),” indicating that “the Karbala epic is one of the most important historical events, and the most important of the wonderful achievements that humanity has achieved in the fields of armed struggle and revolution against injustice and tyranny, and on the day of Karbala the whole world stands and draws from Hussein (peace be upon him) lessons of strength, courage and principles that distinguished Hussein (peace be upon him) and his companions from the hypocrites and criminals who betrayed the trust of God and His Messenger by killing the Imam and taking his family captive, and he is the one about whom God’s prayers and peace be upon him said (Al-Hassan and Hussein are two imams whether they stand or sit).”

He added, “Imam Hussein (PBUH) was keen to define and declare his goal, which is reform in the nation of his grandfather, relying on the means of enjoining good and forbidding evil, and to present to the afflicted world…

With the oppressors, lessons of revolution, strength, and steadfastness of the sacred goals. So peace be upon Al-Hussein, Ali Ibn Al-Hussein, the children of Al-Hussein, and the companions of Al-Hussein who sacrificed their lives for Al-Hussein.
