Today, Monday, two expatriate workers were killed when a hole collapsed while working on a water project in the Souk Al-Khamis area in Al-Khums, in the west of the country.

The spokesman for the Ambulance and Emergency Service, Dr. Osama Ali, said that a collapse in a water line under construction in the Souq al-Khamis area resulted in the death of two workers, one Egyptian and the other African, after they were taken to the hospital.

Ali told Libya News 24, today, Monday, that the Central Chamber received a report of the collapse and erosion of soil on two workers while working on a water project in the Souk Al-Khamis area in the city of Al-Khums, as a result of which the emergency teams moved immediately to the spot, and the injured were treated by the emergency team. of the Coast Ambulance Office to the hospital.

Ali explained that the two workers died of their injuries despite first aid being provided to them, and they were taken to receive health services and necessary care at Al Khums Hospital.
