As this video spread rapidly on social media and created a lot of excitement, the police who first arrested Ramachandramurthy from the same area in connection with this case, secondly arrested Maheswaran who was hiding in Sivakasi of Virudhunagar district.
And on the order of District Collector Akash, the grocery store which was helping to sow this caste untouchability was pulled down and sealed by the government officials including Sankarenkovil District Collector Babu in the presence of Sankarenkovil District Collector Subbulakshmi.

In this matter, a case has been registered against 5 persons under sections 153(A), 147,294,506, 153,377 of the Indian Penal Code and two Maheswaran and Ramachandramurthy have been arrested and the three involved in this case Murugan (45), Kumar (40) and Sudha (45) have been arrested in Karivalamvanthanallur. The police are searching.
The two arrested in this case were produced in Sankarankovil court under strong police protection and imprisoned. In this situation, the police have decided to use the main section of the SC, ST Act in this matter. It is also now known that this section has not been used even once in Tamil Nadu.
