Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed on Tuesday the need to support the decisive steps taken by Iraq for reconstruction, as he affirmed his support for the people of Lebanon who are subject to Zionist aggression.

Erdogan said in his speech during the official opening of the work of the United Nations General Assembly at its 79th session – followed by the (INA): “The decisive steps that Iraq is taking for reconstruction must be supported,” adding, “We stand for the Lebanese people and the Lebanese state that is under attack.” We will stand with those who are right to the end.
He said, “The Zionist entity must be punished for its crimes and it must pay the price for the damage it has caused. Countries are asking for a ceasefire and a ceasefire, but they provide arms to the entity in secret, and this is hypocrisy.”
He continued, “We must stop Netanyahu and his criminal gang with a humanitarian alliance, just as Hitler stopped decades ago, and the Zionist government practicing racial cleansing against the Palestinians, killing them and to confiscate their lands.”
