The Declaration signed by HM the King and the Emirati President is a frank plea in favor of investment in vital sectors in Morocco (Emirati Minister of Economy)
Abu Dhabi – The Declaration signed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, President of the State of the United Arab Emirates, is a frank plea in favor of promoting investments in vital sectors in Morocco, affirmed the Emirati Minister of Economy, Mr. Abdullah Bin Touq Al Marri.
The Declaration “Towards an innovative, renewed and rooted partnership between the Kingdom of Morocco and the State of the United Arab Emirates” is a resolute call for direct investment in vital economic sectors such as food security, energy, water and transport, explained Mr. Al Marri in an exclusive interview granted to the television channel “2M”.
The Emirati minister indicated, in this interview broadcast on Wednesday evening, that the Royal Visit was also marked by the exchange of several memoranda which also concern investment in infrastructure projects, notably ports, airports, and Data Centers.
Mr. Al Marri recalled the holding last April in Rabat of the Moroccan-Emirati Joint Economic Commission, assuring that his country and Morocco present a unique model of global economic partnership between Arab countries.
Referring to the virtuous dynamics of economic development that Morocco is experiencing, the Emirati minister welcomed the measures adopted by the Kingdom to promote foreign investments.
In this regard, he cited the new Investment Charter, which is among the best texts in this area, as it offers foreign investors several incentive measures to facilitate their establishment and the development of their activities.
