Dmitry Gorin, vice-president of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), told Izvestia about this. He explained this by the fact that most European countries and the United States do not yet accept citizens with a Russian certificate, and Russians want to be vaccinated with a drug approved by the WHO for travel there.
Vaccine tours are sold, in particular, by operators of BSI Group, PAC Group, Vedi Group, Solvex and Russian Express. The latter now sells 50-100 such vouchers per day, which is tens of times more than at the start of vaccine programs in mid-September. Then travel companies received one or two such applications per day.
