The Department of Basic Education of the Ministry of Education of the Government of National Unity held the first meeting with the directors of the Basic Education Affairs Offices in the Education Directorates across the country.
The meeting, which was held at the General Center for Training and Education Development, was attended by the Minister of Education, Musa Al-Maqrif, the Undersecretaries of the Ministry for Educational Affairs, Masouda Al-Aswad, and for Monitoring Affairs, Mohsen Al-Kabeer, the Director of the Basic Education Department, Hassan Abu Ghalia, the Director General of the Center for Training and Education Development, Mohammed Ghuma, and the Directors of Basic Education Offices across Libya.
The meeting reviewed preparations for the launch of the new academic year 2024-2025, discussed the problems and obstacles facing the work of basic education offices, in addition to developing a plan for the work of basic education offices that includes the administration’s vision and aspirations.
In a speech during the meeting, Al-Maqrif praised the role of the primary education offices in the success of the educational process and its advancement, according to what was reported by the ministry’s media office.
The Minister stressed that the Ministry is making every effort and is preparing for the launch of a new academic year free of obstacles under the slogan “The Year of Quality and Excellence.”
