Often the criteria for the need for families are not achieved by payments in the amount of half the subsistence minimum per child, therefore, on the instructions of the President, new criteria are introduced. State Duma deputy Svetlana Bessarab told RT about this, commenting on the allocation of additional funds by the Cabinet of Ministers for families with children from 3 to 7 years old.
“If, when providing such support, the family still does not reach the level of need in the amount of one living wage or more per family, then the state offers 75% of the subsistence minimum per child,” the deputy said, noting that payments can reach one living wage.
Bessarab stressed that families with children should receive such state support that they do not need anything.
We will remind, today the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Mikhail Mishustin allocated another 28.3 billion rubles for monthly payments to families with children.
