jpnn.comJAKARTA – General Chair of Projo Volunteers, Budi Arie Setiadi, said that the right of inquiry to investigate fraud in the 2024 election is not necessary.

According to him, it makes no sense for the right of inquiry to be proposed because the difference in votes between presidential and vice presidential candidates number 2 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming, and presidential and vice presidential candidates number 1 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar is 50 million.

“There is no right of inquiry, where does the difference of 50 million right of inquiry come from? “Just think about it, where does the 50 million difference in fraud come from? If it’s only 10 thousand, 20 thousand is fine,” said Budi Arie at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (13/3).

The Minister of Communication and Information admitted that he was surprised if someone accused candidate pair number 2 of cheating.

“A difference of 50 million is how great it is to cheat 50 million. Yes, what is the right of inquiry for?” he asked.

Budi Arie added that if there was election fraud that was thought to involve the government, the Anies and Ganjar camps should have known about it.

This is because the parties supporting Anies-Muhaimin and Ganjar-Mahfud are in the government led by President Joko Widodo.

“Everyone is in the government, team 1 is there, team 3 is there, you know, Anies’ camp is in the government,” he said.
