New step in road and rail access to the Port of Barcelona. This Tuesday, the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda put out to tender the drafting of the projects construction of the southern entrances 12.2 million of euros. Three year term
The first phase of drafting the tendered project now has a estimated term of 24 months. The second phase will specify 12 months reports, actions and details of the project.
He Ministry of Transport has detailed that the project to be drawn up will define two false tunnels of 3.2 kilometres. One of them, 1.9 kilometers and double track, will go from its connection with the l’Hospitalet-Can Tunis line to the exit to the surface. Also contemplated is the superstructure of the railway infrastructure, the provisional diversion of the Railways of the Generalitat of Catalonia (FGC) and its subsequent replacement, with a layout compatible with a future line duplication. In addition, two emergency exits with three access roads, replacement of roads and services and drainage works will be defined.
Road structure
