More than 55,000 tickets have already been sold for the opening match of the Women’s World Cup in England, as well as the Twickenham final and the 3rd place match.
World Rugby announced on Wednesday that the group draw for the 2025 Women’s World Cup, hosted in England, will take place on Thursday 17 October. The draw will be followed live at 7.20pm BBC and on the site Rugby Pass TV. The full competition program will then be revealed on Tuesday 22 October.
The FA reveals that more than 55,000 tickets have already been sold for the opening match at Sunderland, as well as the final at Twickenham and the 3rd place match. For the moment, ten teams have already qualified: Canada, France, Brazil, Ireland, South Africa, Japan, United States, Fiji, New Zealand, reigning champion, and England, host country. The last six available spots will be assigned at the end of the ongoing “WXV” tournament.
