The Democratic Republic of Congo, a French-speaking African giant, is in full mutation. The economic challenges are multiple for this country so rich in natural resources, but where a large part of the population suffers from poverty and under-equipment. As the presidential election scheduled for the end of 2023 approaches, a new Minister of the Economy, Vital Kamhere, has been appointed, with the stated ambition of “responding to President Tshisekedi’s promise, improving the living conditions of the Congolese”.
