The young driver, who with a positive drug test, crashed into a pole and then into a massive outbuilding in the Sofia village of Dobroslavtsi, was released for home treatment. Miraculously, he escaped without serious injury. The accident happened on a road that young drivers often use as a speed section.

The young man crashed his car that night, first into a street pole, and then into a house on “Letets” Street in Dobroslavtsi.

“My room is here and during the night there was a bang, one, two, then sparks, smoke, we went out to see the car that crashed here. It was just something scary,” said Velichka Kovanova.

“The shock is great, because the rumble is cruel,” shared Eva Ivanova.

“Most likely, with 200 km, he cut off a pillar, broke a wall another 10 meters, which… the sight was inhuman,” noted the mayor of Dobroslavtsi, Rosen Nikolov.

For about an hour, firefighters tried to get the driver out of the crushed car. He was taken to hospital with a head wound and then released. In the morning, the police brought him back to the scene of the accident. It turns out that he is not from the village.

“And I told him that God saved him… And us too, because this pillar could have fallen in my room,” Velichka Kovanova is categorical.

“We have children, the debris is in our yard, and it’s good that the accident happened at a time when there is no traffic,” emphasized Eva Ivanova.

There is also damage to the larger house. Parts of the car crashed into her with such force that they took away pieces of the insulation. Due to the accident, “Letets” street was also left without lighting. The technical teams responded immediately, despite the holiday.

“The damage to the infrastructure will be repaired in the shortest possible time”, promised the mayor of the Novi Iskar region, Vladislav Vladimirov.

People fear that the next blow could be fatal. The local authority has also filed reports.

“Heavy trucks pass by, it’s not secured, there are no lying down policemen, the youth drive at high speed, because the section is straight,” explained Rosen Nikolov.

“There was a moment when the bad condition of the road forced drivers to drive at the appropriate speed, but we made a partial repair of the road. After the road is in better quality, it starts to be driven at an inappropriate speed,” said Vladislav Vladimirov, quoted by BNT.

“I want to appeal to all young people – don’t do this, just the boy when we saw him, as parents, we were horrified,” said Eva Ivanova.
