Time.news – A new shock of earthquake of magnitude 6.9 was recorded off the southern coast of the Philippines. This was announced by the United States Geological Survey. It is the latest in a series of strong earthquakes concentrated in the same area.
The quake struck just before 4:00 local time (10pm Italian time), at a depth of 30 kilometers, about 72 kilometers north-east of the municipality of Hinatuan, on the island of Mindanao. Two people were killed yesterday in a 7.6 magnitude earthquake. Other aftershocks were recorded, including one with a magnitude of 6.6.
