In particular, the traffic in Athens-Corinth started after the Isthmias, with the vehicles periodically stopping in Agios Theodorou, Kineta and Megara.

Delays occurred early in the evening and on the Athens-Lamia highway shortly before Malakasa and from Kapandriti to the Afidna toll road, however, vehicle traffic was normalized after 11.00 in the evening.

Shortly after 01:00 on Tuesday morning the map had “turned green”. However, today, Tuesday (7/5), the second wave of excursions is expected to return to Athens.

However, they also encountered difficulties in although, due to the works being carried out at the height of the Axios bridge. In fact, a few meters later, the tolls ended up becoming one, while the situation calmed down around the height of Chalastra.

The return of the excursionists from Halkidiki took place without any problems, while slightly increased traffic was observed on the Kavala – Thessaloniki National Road, at the height of the Ascent toll.
